Terms & Conditions of Reservations

Any cheques that are returned to us unpaid from the bank incur a charge of ten pounds sterling which will be passed on to the drawer.
Payment for accommodation is requested on arrival in full.
GROUP BOOKINGS – Payment for accommodation must be paid in cash on arrival. NO cheques or credit/ debit cards will be accepted on the day of arrival. Our cancellation policy is 14 Days for Group bookings. Anyone cancelling after 14 days prior to the date of arrival will be liable for the full accommodation charge
Single sex parties may be required to share a double bed. No discount will be made in the event that this is necessary.
Persons arriving that are too intoxicated will not be checked in and will not be permitted access to accommodation.
Addendum. (9/2/07) Please note ( as per information listed in other material published by ourselves) Our cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to the date of arrival for individual bookings. Therefore if you cancel your reservation or part thereof within 48 hours of the day upon which you are due to arrive, You will be charged for your first nights accommodation. If you have supplied credit card details, your card will be charged for the appropriate amount.
By supplying your credit card details we assume that you have an "intent" to pay and therefore enter a legally binding contract with ourselves. Please contact us if you have any questions with regards to these terms and conditions

All reservations must be confirmed with a deposit. Failure to pay a deposit will terminate any provisional reservation.
Deposits/ Bond are Non-Refundable if numbers in group decline
Non arrivals will be charged the first nights accommodation.
Unless we are advised differently, rooms secured with a deposit will be released at 6.00pm and will be assumed your reservation has been cancelled. You will then be invoiced for that night’s accommodation less the cost of breakfast.
We reserve the right to out-book you to another hotel should the situation arise. Alternative accommodation will be of the same or similar standard. No cash alternative or refund will be made in the event of this occurrence.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking and return in full your deposit. In the event of this occurring we will give you as much notice as is reasonably practical.
All cheques for deposits/ bond should be made payable to The Chedburgh Hotel . Your cheque guarantee card number and expiry date should be written on the reverse of the cheque.
